This Privacy Policy explains how Flipzy (“we”, “us”, “our”) collects, uses, and shares information when you use the Flipzy mobile application (the “App”).

1) Information We Collect

A. Photos and Media You Provide

• You may upload photos (from your library or camera) to generate AI results.
• We process the images you submit to provide the requested features (e.g., baby generation, filters, reveal videos).
• Your uploaded photos may be stored to support the in-app Library experience (e.g., viewing, reusing, and deleting your content).

B. Generated Content

• The App may create outputs such as images and videos based on your inputs.
• Generated outputs and related metadata may be stored to support the in-app Library (e.g., viewing and deleting results).

C. Device & App Data

We may collect basic technical information to operate and improve the App, such as:

• device type, OS version
• app version
• language/region
• diagnostic information (e.g., crash logs)

D. Purchases and Subscription Status

If you purchase a subscription or premium access, we receive purchase status information from the app store and/or our subscription provider in order to unlock features.

2) How We Use Information

We use information to:

• provide and improve App features
• run AI processing needed to generate results
• maintain security and prevent abuse
• provide customer support
• comply with legal obligations

3) How We Share Information

We do not sell your personal data.

We may share information only in these cases:

• Service providers: trusted vendors that help us operate the App (e.g., analytics, crash reporting, subscription management, AI processing).
• Legal requirements: if required by law or to protect rights, safety, and security.
• Business transfers: if the App is involved in a merger, acquisition, or asset sale.

AI Processing Providers (Replicate, fal.ai)

To generate results, the App may securely transmit user-selected photos (which may include faces/face data) to third-party AI processing providers, including Replicate and/or fal.ai. We do not collect FaceID data or biometric identifiers, and we do not use your photos to identify you.

Do these third parties store face data?

These providers may temporarily store face data (i.e., photos and generated outputs that may include faces) only to operate the generation workflow, such as running the prediction, generating output files, delivering results for download, ensuring reliability, and enabling limited troubleshooting/logging.

Provider privacy practices and retention

Replicate (API predictions)

• Why they store data: to run the prediction and return results (inputs/outputs/output files/logs) for reliability and troubleshooting during processing.
• How long they store data: for predictions created through the API, all input parameters, output values, output files, and logs are automatically removed after about 1 hour by default (unless we save our own copies).
• Why this length of time: the short default retention window is intended to support processing, short-term result availability, and limited troubleshooting; after that, data is removed by default.

fal.ai (generated files)

• Why they store data: to generate and deliver output files and keep them available for a short period so they can be retrieved.
• How long they store data: files generated by fal.ai are guaranteed to be available for at least 7 days. After that, they may be deleted at any time.
• Why this length of time: the availability period is intended to allow retrieval of generated files; after that, files may be deleted. We recommend saving any files you want to keep for longer.

4) Data Retention

We keep data only as long as needed to provide the App and for legitimate business purposes (such as security, troubleshooting, and compliance).

• Uploaded photos (inputs): Photos you upload may be stored to provide the requested features and to support the in-app Library. We retain uploaded photos until you delete them in the App (where available) and/or request deletion.
• Generated content (outputs): Generated images/videos and related metadata may be stored so you can access them in the in-app Library. We retain this content until you delete it in the App (where available) and/or request deletion.
• When you delete content in the App, we delete associated stored files/records from our systems within a reasonable period.
• Third-party AI providers: Replicate and fal.ai may retain processing data for limited periods as described above (Replicate ~1 hour by default; fal.ai at least 7 days, then may be deleted at any time).

  5) Your Choices & Rights

  Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, delete, or correct your information.

Delete Your Data

You can request deletion by contacting us at the email below. Please include:

• your country
• the approximate date/time you used the App
• any relevant identifiers you can provide (do not send sensitive documents)

6) Children’s Privacy

The App is not intended for children under 13 (or the minimum age required in your region). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

7) Security

We use reasonable safeguards designed to protect information. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure.

8) International Transfers

Your information may be processed in countries other than where you live. We take steps to ensure appropriate protection.
